We love travelling, and we know the value of getting to a place and feeling at home. We have always been careful travel planners – buying good guide books and searching the web. But somehow we felt something was missing.

When we started visiting some of the travellers we had met along the road, we discovered what we had been looking for as travellers.

First and foremost, we felt more at home going out with friends of friends, hanging out at “their places” and not at the typical tourist traps. Through our local contacts, we learnt the best ways to get around, which places to go to, shows, plays, exhibits to see and concerts not to miss. Precious tips offered to us which no guide book could provide and in the end, the trips turned out to be something different.
